 James Francis Cameron CC (born August 16, 1954) is a Canadian filmmaker from Canada. A prominent figure in the post-New Hollywood era, James Francis Cameron is considered to be to be one of the industry's most innovative filmmakers, regularly challenging the limits of cinematic potential through the use of cutting-edge technologies. The first film he directed was The Terminator (1984), which directed by him.
