 American actor William Michael Zabka (/zaebk@(born October 20, 1965) He is well-known for his performances in the role of Johnny Lawrence in The Karate Kid (1984), The Karate Kid Part II ( 1986) and the TV series Cobra Kai (2018). He was nominated in 2004 for the Academy Award for producing and co-writing the short film Most.Zabka was a New York City native, the daughter and son of Stan Zabka (a director, writer, and composer). He has a brother as well as an older sister. His father, who is a Czech-born Czech national was born in Des Moines in Iowa. He was an assistant director for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson for the first two years. Zabka was also a co-star on The Equalizer, starring as the son and title character (1986-1989). In the series National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985), he also played Jack as Audrey's jock boyfriend. Later, he tried to get away from his role as a class bully.
