 American actress Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on March 24, 1974. When she began her acting career at the age of four through commercial appearances, she moved to Hollywood at the age of 11 and soon got an agent.Hannigan began her film career with minor roles in comedy films Impure Thoughts (1986) and My Stepmother is an Alien (1988) and was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination for the latter. In 1999, she started acting in the American Pie film series as Michelle Flaherty as the series' principal love interest. She was featured in each film in the series from 1999 until 2012. Three times she was nominated for Teen Choice Awards and received the Young Hollywood Award. After appearing in the parody film Date Movie (2006), the thriller slasher You Might Be the Killer (2018) and the superhero film Flora & Ulysses (211) she got her start on TV when she starred in the sitcom that ran for a short time, Free Spirit (1989-1990), for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award nomination. After playing a variety of minor roles in television movies and other shows she landed her breakout role as teenage witch Willow Rosenberg in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
