Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is an English-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist, philanthropist and human rights advocate. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law in addition to New York University School of Law is recognized internationally for her career and achievements in international human rights law. The clients she has worked with include the nation of Armenia which is fighting the Turkish government over the acknowledgement and apology for the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to American actor George Clooney to marry him in the year 2014 and immediately became a household name in pop media. In the past, she had been known for her success in representing her clients in courts and was well-known. She has tackled human and civil rights concerns as well as representing multi-national corporations in court proceedings and negotiations concerning federal regulations.
