Tran Jeong

 Tran Jeong, a doctor in the American Vietnamese community, is married to Ken Jeong. She is the wife of actor Ken Jeong, who is known for his portrayal of Ben Chang in the sitcom Community and the Gangster Leslie Chow in The Hangover film series. Tran's parents were of Vietnamese origin but she was raised in the United States. She received her degree from UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine and has been a family doctor for more than two decades. While working at Kaiser Permanente West California in 2002, she was introduced to Ken. They dated for a couple of years before they were married in the year 2004. Tran as well as her husband have twin daughters, Zooey and Alexa. In 2008, a year after the birth of their twins, Tran was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was then treated with 16 chemotherapy sessions, as well as a mastectomy. Later she received radiation therapy. In the course of her treatment her husband was her caregiver. In October 2010 her doctors informed her that she was cancer-free. Tran Jeong as well as her family members, as well as her physician, a Woodland Hills, California-based physician, currently reside in Los Angeles.
