 Ginny & Georgia is an American comedy-drama television series created by Sarah Lampert that was released on Netflix on February 24, 2021. In April of 2021, the show was renewed for a new season that is scheduled to debut on January 5, 2023.Ginny and Georgia follows Ginny Miller who is a "15-year-old who is more mature than her mother of 30 years", Georgia, in the New England town where Georgia decides to settle down with her daughter Ginny and son Austin to provide them with the same life as she had.Georgia Miller arrives in Wellsbury with her teenage daughter Ginny and 9-year-old son Austin following the death of her husband. On her first day at the new school, Ginny confronts her English teacher. She's also greeted by Maxine and, through her, encounters Maxine's twin brother, a bad boy named Marcus as well as another man, Hunter. She later kisses Marcus but then accepts a date with Hunter. Georgia also has a meeting with Joe, Wellsbury's mayor; and Ellen her next-door neighbor and mother of Marcus, Maxine, and Wellsbury's Mayor, Paul. While Ginny is out with Hunter, Georgia and Ellen go on dates. with Hunter, Georgia and Ellen smoke marijuana. When Ginny comes home from the date she has sex with Marcus and loses her virginity.
