Russell Carrington Wilson, born November 29, 1988, is an American football quarterback of the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL). He was previously a player in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks, winning Super Bowl XLVIII.Wilson played college in baseball and football at NC State from 2008 to 2010 before transferring to Wisconsin in 2011, where he set the single-season FBS record for passing efficiency (191.8) and led the team to a Big Ten title and the 2012 Rose Bowl. Wilson was also selected by the Seahawks in the 75th round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He broke Peyton Manning's record for the most touchdowns passed by an rookie (26) and was named Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year in 2012. Wilson has been named to nine Pro Bowlsand has led the Seahawks to two consecutive Super Bowls. They won Super Bowl XLVIII over the Broncos. He has the record for most wins for an NFL quarterback through nine seasons
