Andrew Dean East, born 17 September 1991 Andrew Dean East was born on September 17, 1991. He is an American football long snapper. He played in the NCAA football tournament at Vanderbilt as well as played for a variety of NFL teams, including the Washington Redskins.East was named a captain of the North Central High School football team in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a three-year starter on special teams and defense for the 5A division school that is located in the Indianapolis area.When East was a sophomore and junior, he started as a linebacker, posting 110 tackles in his junior year. He was named the All-Around-Area linebacker while starting as a long-snapper.As an senior, East contributed 64 tackles and seven quarterback sacks as the first year's starter. East was also awarded Indiana Academic All-State honors. The Raiders signed the player on July 28th 2017. He was released on September 2 on the 2nd of September, 2017. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Raiders on January 19 in 2018. He was released by the Raiders on April 9, 2018.On December 15, 2018, East was signed by the Washington Redskins after long snapper Nick Sundberg was placed on reserve with an injury due to a back injury.He was released on August 2, 2019.
