 Phoebe Cates is an American model, actress and entrepreneur. She has a net worth of $35 million. It is her total wealth together with Kevin Cline, her husband for more than three decades. Phoebe is well-known for her role as Linda Barrett in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (1982), Kate Beringer in "Gremlins" (1984) and "Gremlins 2: The New Batch" (1990) as well as Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cronin in "Drop Dead Fred" (1991). Cates was also seen on Broadway in 1989's production of Paddy Chayefsky's "The Tenth Man." "Phoebe Cates was born Phoebe Belle Cates on July 16, 1963, in New York City. Her mother, Lily, was born in China and her father, Joseph (whose original surname was Katz) was a Broadway and TV producer involved in the making of the show "The $64,000 Question." Phoebe was raised with her older sister Valerie and her younger sister Alexandra, and she was a student at the Professional Children's School and the famous Juilliard School. Cates began modeling at the age of 10, and was featured in teen magazines, such as "Seventeen." A few years later she decided she wanted to focus on dance.
