 Despite the sequel's retro chic addition, Minions' antics are starting to get boring. He plans to become an evil enough character for them. His faithful minions supply Gru with some assistance in creating chaos. They, along with Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto--a newly-created Minion sporting braces and a desire to please -- deploy their talents when they and Gru create their first home, experiment with their first weapons and pull off their first mission. Gru is interviewed as their new leader after the Vicious 6 eliminate their leader Wild Knuckles, an Oscar(r), winner. It doesn't go well (to be honest) and it only becomes worse when Gru outsmarts them and suddenly is a target of the highest level of evil. Gru will seek advice from an unlikely source while on the run.
