 David Walter Foster OBC, David Walter Foster OBC, OBC was born November 1st, 1949. He is a Canadian musician and arranger, music producer, and music director. Verve Records was his company from 2012 to 2016. From 47 nominations, he's received 16 Grammy Awards. From his 47 nominations, Foster's career in music spans five decades. He played the keyboard for Skylark in the early 1970s. Foster also worked as producer on two albums from The Tubes, 1981's The Completion Backward Principle and 1983’s Outside Inside. Foster composed songs, such as "Talk to Ya Later" along with Tubes singer Fee waybill as well as Steve Lukather of Toto, and the Top 40 hit "Don’t Want to Wait Anymore". He also co-wrote the US number one hit "She’s A Beauty". The 1980 Boz Scaggs album Middle Man included Foster collaborate with him and also play the keyboard on several of Scaggs's most successful songs, including "Breakdown Dead Ahead", "Jojo", and "Simone" and "Look What You've Done to Me" from the film Urban Cowboy.
