 Sidney Kimmel, a billionaire film producer businessman, philanthropist and businessman, is Sidney Kimmel. His father was a taxi driver in West Philadelphia ("born and raised in the playground" is where I spent the majority of my life" ...") In the past, Kimmel produced the blockbuster film Crazy Rich Asians. He has put up for sale two of his Malibu and New York City homes for more than $100million. He established Jones New York (now known as Nine West Holdings) in 1970. His company controlled Nine West, Anne Klein Stuart Weitzman Joan & David, Gloria Vanderbilt, as well as Barneys New York, as also having a licensing agreement with Ralph Lauren. He took the company public in the year 1991. In 2014 the company was sold for $2.2 billion. He's also a film director, with over 55 movies to his credit. The films he has made include The Kite Runner, United 93, and The Age of Adeline, to name just a few.Kimmel has put up his Malibu estate for $65 million and his New York City apartment for $39 million. The Malibu property is available since 2017 when it was listed for $80 million.
