 Adriana Lima (Portuguese pronunciation: [adri'ana 'limaborn on June 12, 1981) is a Brazilian model, well-known for her work as an Victoria's Secret Angel from 1999 until 2018. She was the longest-running model, and recognized as "the most significant Victoria's Secret Angel" in the year 2017. She is also known as a spokesmodel for Maybelline Cosmetics since 2003, and for her Super Bowl and Kia Motors commercials. Lima was 15 when she was crowned Ford's Supermodel of Brazil competition. She then took second in the Ford Supermodel of the World competition. After signing with Elite Model Management, New York City, Lima is currently listed by models.com as one of the "New Supers". Since 2014, Lima has been the world's second highest-paid model. In 2012, she was 4th on the Forbes highest-earning models list. estimated to earn $7.3 million in a single year. She came in 3rd place in 2013 and was 2nd in 2014 with earnings of $8million. In 2015, she came in 2nd place with earnings of $9 million. She remained in the second position with earnings US$10.5million in 2016.
