David Holden created Young & Hungry the American Romantic sitcom. The multi-camera series stars Emily Osment, Jonathan Sadowski, Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley, and Rex Lee, and premiered on ABC Family (now Freeform) on June 25, 2014.On March 7, 2016 Freeform renewed the show for a fourth season that premiered on June 1st, 2016, and ended on August 3 in 2016. Osment made the announcement via Twitter on October 24, 2016, that Young & Hungry was renewed for a fifth series. The fourth season debuted on June 1, 2016 and concluded on August 3 on the 3rd of August, 2016. The final 10 episodes premiered on June 20th, 2018 and ended on July 25 on July 25, 2018. A film to mark the end of the series was originally announced as a result of the decision to cancel, however it then cancelled on the 24th of August 2018.Set in San Francisco, wealthy tech entrepreneur Josh Kaminski employs Gabi Diamond as his personal chef. After having a few issues with Gabi's trial dinner they embark on an intimate night-time relationship. The show explores their lives and relationships. The dynamic of the couple follows their relationship and love life. Gabi has to face a lot of problems within the kitchen. Gabi lives in an apartment together with Sofia her best friend.
