Self Esteem

 Did you know that self-esteem or self-worth, could have a a significant impact on how you feel? It can affect your behavior and decision-making. Self-worth is linked to higher levels of happiness and less stress. A low self-esteem could lead to feelings of shame, social isolation and self-criticism. These sayings and quotes can be downloaded in order to remind you to be proud of your self. You can also share them on social media to remind your loved family members. Self-worth can encourage healthy lifestyles that boost mental well-being. If we feel that our self is appreciated, we may be more likely to be able to take good care of our own wellbeing. One indicator of self-esteem is the capability to show compassion. You may find it easier to show compassion to your fellow humans and yourself if you are able to do this. This can result in positive feedback which makes it easier for you to be kind to yourself and to others! It is possible that you need to get an increase in self-esteem if you say negative things about yourself, things you would never tell someone or anyone else. This habit, called negative self-talk, can increase negative emotions like worry as well as sadness and despair. After a traumatic or stressful life event, many feel low self-esteem.
