When I was in the elementary school I had a pastor at my Catholic school drove an older Porsche. We used to play around with it, his old 911 is nothing in comparison to the Nigerian men of cloth. The pastors didn't swear poverty when they took on their collars and began preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to Nigerians. The new pastor can see the possibility in the salvation of his flock. With dollars in their faces He makes use of his personal brand to make it to the bank and earns millions while doing what is right. They've taken their personal branding seriously and have made huge profits from it. This breed of Nigerian Pastors is more a televangelist like Ted Baker, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell than they are real people of the cloth.
