Her birth date was April 25 the 25th of April, 1969. She was awarded many accolades, which included two Academy Awards and two British Academy Film Awards. In 2007, she was also one of the highest-paid actresses in the world. Zellweger was born and raised in Texas. Initially aspiring for an employment in journalism, she was attracted to acting after her short stint on stage in college. After minor performances in Dazed & Confused (1993) and Reality Bites (1994), she was offered a starring part in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Next Generation (1994). After small roles in Reality Bites (1994) and Dazed and Confused (1993), Zellweger rose to fame when she played the lead role in Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994). The film won her the Golden Globe Award for her debut starring role. Zellweger was nominated twice for Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) and Roxie Hart's Chicago (2002).
