They have three children. He was raised Catholic but became a born-again non-denominational Christian while in college. Pence, a staunch rightwing Christian nationalist is well-known for his anti-abortion views and his anti-LGBT stances. Pence was also a target of the insurrectionists that stormed the US Capitol on the 6th of January , 2021.
