Michael Strahan played defensive end for the New York Giants for 14 seasons. Strahan is an analyst for Fox NFL Sunday and co-host of ABC's Good Morning America. "Michael Anthony Strahan" was born in Houston on November 21, 1971. He is the youngest child of six children born to Gene Willie Strahan and Louise Strahan. The Strahan family relocated to Mannheim, West Germany when Strahan was nine years old. He was a professional football player in Mannheim American High School, a U.S. Department of Defense Dependent High School in Germany. During the summer between his junior and senior years in high school, his father sent him back to Houston to stay with his uncle Art who was an ex NFL player, in order that that he could play football during the fall semester. This move enabled Strahan to get a football scholarship from Texas Southern University.
