Maya

Maya Angelou, an American poet, writer, teacher, activist and actress, was worth over $10 million when she passed away in 2014. Angelou was the author of 36 books. She passed away in 2014, at the age of ten. She was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Arts. Angelou was also awarded three Grammys and many other awards. Angelou's role in the movies "Roots", "Poetic Justice", "How to Make an American Quilt", and "Madea's family reunion" (2006) was rewarded with a Tony nomination. Sadly, Maya passed away in May 2014 at the age 86. Her agent, who was the one to announce her death, she explained that she was fragile and had spent time in the hospital recovering from a mystery illness.
