Lucy Verasamy (born 2 August 1980) is a British forecaster of weather for ITV Weather, ITV Racing and ITV's Good Morning Britain.Verasamy was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, and went to Silfield Primary School in Wymondham, Framlingham College Junior School in Suffolk and King Edward VII School in King's Lynn, where she was a student at the A-level in geography. She earned an BSc (Hons) degree in geography at Brunel University in 2001.After graduation, Verasamy trained and worked as a meteorologist at the Press Association's weather center (Later renamed Meteogroup the world's largest private weather company) which was responsible for writing national and international forecasts for weather for radio, television, and Newspapers. Verasamy, who had previously worked at the Sky Weather Centre as a meteorologist in training prior to becoming a regular presenter of the Sky News' Sunrise breakfast show, moved to Sky. In 2007 the Sky News website started a feature entitled Climate Clinic - Ask Lucy as part of their Green Britain campaign.
