 Julianne Alexandra Hough (/h^f/; born July 20, 1988) is an American dancer, actress, and singer. Julianne Alexandra Hough (/hfborn on July 20 the 20th of July, 1988) is an American professional dancer, actress, and vocalist. She is a professional performer who joined the ABC Dancing with the Stars cast in 2007. She won two seasons with her celeb partners. In 2014, she returned to Dancing with the Stars as the judge for the show on a permanent basis, a role she held until the year 2017. As a result of her work on the series she has earned three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography which she won in 2015 with her brother Derek Hough.Hough made her acting debut in the 2001 film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone however, she she played her first role in the 2010 film Burlesque and was followed by lead roles in the film in the films of Ariel in Footloose, Sherrie in Rock of Ages, and Katie in Safe Haven. In 2016, she portrayed Sandy in the live Fox television production of Grease. She also was a judge for America's Got Talent for its 14th season.
