 Richard Harrison was an American Pawn Shop owner and reality TV star was value of more than $8 million when he passed away in 2018. Richard Harrison was also known as Old Man, was a star of the History channel's cult reality show Pawn Stars (2009-2015). "Old Man" was given his nickname when he was in his 30s due to his appearance and attitude. Richard and his son Rick founded the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989. He didn't miss a single day of work since 1994. "Pawn Stars" debuted in 2009, and just three months later, it had become the most watched program on the History Channel, and it was the basis for the popular spin-off show, "American Restoration" in 2010. Harrison was featured in more than 270 episodes on "Pawn Stars." "Richard "Old Man" Harrison was born Richard Benjamin Harrison Jr. on March 4, 1941 in Danville, Virginia. When Richard was very young, his family relocated to Lexington, North Carolina. He was a student at Lexington High School, but was kicked out of school during his junior year. At 14 he was no longer attracted to school.
