LaMelo Ball is an American professional basketball player who has an estimated net worth of $20 million. LaMelo was born in Chino Hills in California, August 2001. He is the brother to Lonzo Ball, LiAngelo and LaVar Ball. After his appearance in the Facebook Watch reality series "Ball in the Family", he was a household name. LaMelo Ball was a point guard at Chino Hills High School as in the SPIRE Institute. He was named the MaxPreps National Freshman Award winner in 2016. He played in the 2018 season for the Los Angeles Ballers, a junior basketball association. In the year 2018 LaMelo Ball took home the JBA championship and was a JBA All-Star. He won a state title alongside his brothers at high school. He decided to not play at UCLA to play in Australia.In the 2020 NBA draft LaMelo was selected as the 3rd overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets. He soon signed a 2-year $16 million deal with the team.Just before the NBA draft, LaMelo signed what has been reported as a $100 million long-term shoe contract with Puma. It is interesting to note that he was the ONLY rookie in the 2020 class of draft to sign a major sneaker contract before the start of the season 2020/2021.
