Her family's fortune includes selling defense and weapons technology. According to the Daily Mail she and her brother sold the company of her father for $1.2 billion in 2006. Anna Shay's net worth was estimated at $600 million as of January 2023. Shay is the daughter of late billionaire businessman Edward SShay and Ai-San. Her father was the founder of Pacific Architects and Engineers, a defense contractor that worked with the United Nations and the U.S. government. In an interview with Oprah magazine, Shay stated her parents as her idols. Shay declared that her heroes were her father, mother and son. They are all rare in the present. These are rare in the modern world.
