Michael Oher

 Michael Oher is an American football offensive tackle with a an estimated net value of $16 million. Oher's story was featured in "The Blind Side" which was an Academy Award-winning film starring Sandra Bullock & Tim McGraw. Michael's role was played by Quinton Aaron.Michael Oher was born on May 28th the 28th of May, 1986 in Memphis, Tennessee. Oher was born to Denise Oher, who was an alcoholic and crack cocaine addict as well as a father, Michael Jerome Williams, who was often in jail. Due to his upbringing, he received little focus or discipline throughout his childhood. He repeated both first and second grade, and attended 11 different schools in his initial nine years as a student. He was placed in foster care when he was seven, and alternated between different foster homes and experiencing periods of being homeless. Oher's biological father, who was former cellmate of Denise Oher's brother was executed in prison when Oher was an senior high school student. Michael Oher was a young Michael Oher was finally taken in by Sean Tuohy and Leigh Anne Tuohy, when he was just 16, and the Tuohys became the legal guardians of Oher at the age of 17. They hired Oher an instructor, who helped him with his schoolwork for 20 hours each week.
